The Ultimate Projects Guide
Ultimate Swim Raft
With their current fixed dock rotting away, brothers Andrew and Kevin retreat to the drawing board eager to fix the situation and build their dream dock. They quickly come to the conclusion that their new floating dock will need to be self-propelled so that it can be moored both at the shore as well as in the middle of the lake where the swimming is prime.
The Chair Ski
Kevin and Andrew combine the typical cottager’s two most favourite activities — water sports and relaxing on deck chairs — to come up with The Chair-Ski.
Ultimate Pizza Oven
It’s party time! Follow the steps to discover how Andrew and Kevin turn a potbelly charcoal barbeque, an old oil drum and discarded organ pedals into the Ultimate Pizza Oven.
Ultimate Outdoor Theatre
This has to be the ultimate of the bros’ DIY cottage projects — an outdoor theatre that is portable, can be hidden when not in use, is protected from the elements, can function as a music system when not being used to watch movies, and above all, is easy to set up and take down.
Ultimate Fire Pit
Food, fun, and fire come together in this ultimate cottage project. From firewood chopping chairs to log loveseats, set your imagination ablaze with the Ultimate Fire Pit!
Ultimate Outdoor Shower
Have you ever dreamed of a shower with a view of the lake and an open roof to see the stars? Then here it is! The ultimate destination shower where you can both relax and wash off a hard day’s work.
Ultimate Playground
While growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional. Kevin and Andrew build the Ultimate Playground, complete with a teeter-totter, a zipline, a slackline, — and a man-sized version of a baby bouncer! Listen to your wife and lay out a plan to build a playground for the kids because something’s got to get them away from the TV and their iDevices.
Amphibious Hot Tub
Brothers Kevin and Andrew get to work on designing and building the Amphibious Hot Tub. With their life jackets and frosty drinks loaded on board, the boys set sail for the adventure of a life (or death) time.
Ultimate Smokehouse
Inspiration has hit the boys on this project: what if they combine a smoke shack with a bourbon bar? The smoker is the perfect ‘smoke screen’ that will allow the bros to hit the bar while their wives think they are working hard on preparing food for dinner.
Ultimate Ice Fishing Shack
The lake at the cottage is not open for winter fishing so the brothers Andrew and Kevin decide they need a mobile ice fishing shack they can haul into the middle of a frozen lake.
Ultimate Hockey Rink
The brothers decide to build the Ultimate Hockey Rink to keep the masses entertained. Complete with rink side food and bevies, a lawnmower-turned-ice resurfacer, and their very own trophy: the Manly Cup.
Ultimate Breakfast Bar
Brothers Andrew and Kevin set out to create the Ultimate Breakfast Bar: a homemade maple syrup evaporator for boiling down sap that, in true Brojects fashion, is more than meets the eye.
Mobile Mini Cottage
After the cottage gets double booked for the weekend, brothers Andrew and Kevin decide to make a mini-cottage on wheels. With its a flip-up awnings, pullout counters, portholes and portable combination table/heater/table, the Mobile Mini Cottage is anything but typical. It’s the perfect summer addition!
