We don’t go to the cottage to stay inside and watch movies but what if we could relax under the stars and watch our favorite films at the same time? It’s time to get rid of those B-movie VHS tapes we have stored at the cottage and make movie-watching more than a last resort. It’s time to make the Ultimate Outdoor Theatre.

We’re not always going to need an outdoor movie theatre, so why not incorporate it into something more practical — like say, a picnic table. We can house a retractable screen and everything else we need on or under the table surface. The benches could be popped out, pulled back and converted into chaise lounge-style seating. Add a small box and stand to hold our projector and laptop, and you have the makings of the Ultimate Outdoor Theatre.
