Ultimate Smokehouse
Inspiration has hit the boys on this project: what if they combine a smoke shack with a bourbon bar? The smoker is the perfect 'smoke screen' that will allow the bros to hit the bar while their wives think they are working hard on preparing food for dinner.
Step 4
We began the project by building a deck-style platform, the base on which our Ultimate Smokehouse will sit. Using cedar 2-by-8’s, we constructed an eight-foot by eight-foot frame and leveled it onto the concrete deck blocks. We built up from there, running a vertical 4-by-4 post into each deck block on the corner.
