Inspiration has hit the boys on this project: what if they combine a smoke shack with a bourbon bar? The smoker is the perfect 'smoke screen' that will allow the bros to hit the bar while their wives think they are working hard on preparing food for dinner.

Next, we added a roof to keep us high and dry. We chose a galvanized, corrugated steel which is an homage to the Appalachian backwoods tin sheds of Tennessee and Kentucky that inspired our smokehouse but also lends a clean, modern look when contrasted with the rustic cedar. As we learned the hard way, it’s better to have an extra hand or two around (and put plenty of extra screws into our supports) when installing the steel, because it’s a lot heavier than it looks.
